Behind the Lens
Photography has always given me a reason to pay closer attention.
I am drawn to the moments that are easy to walk past — changing light, weather rolling across the horizon, the character of a street, wildlife moving through its environment, or an expression that appears for only a fraction of a second.
Lionheart Photography is my visual journal. The work here spans landscapes, wildlife, travel, people, culture, and everyday life, with much of it rooted in Belize and the Caribbean.
I don't approach photography simply as a way of creating attractive images. I am interested in preserving a sense of place and telling small stories through individual frames.
Some photographs are carefully planned. Others happen because I happened to be standing in the right place and paying attention. Both are part of the process.
Thank you for spending some time with the photographs. I hope something here makes you stop, look a little longer, and perhaps see a familiar place differently.
